Through the years, Smith College Special Collections has been shaped and strengthened through the generosity of individuals who have supported it. From acquisitions to major projects and initiatives, the expert stewardship of Special Collections is the result of the thought and effort of generations of loyal alumnae, faculty, donors, students, friends, and colleagues.

Financial Donations

Smith College Special Collections is in an extraordinary time of program building. To explore unique funding opportunities that support Special Collections development priorities -- from the Access to Collections Project and building acquisitions funds, to critical position needs -- please contact the Director of Special Collections, Elizabeth Myers, emyers@smith.edu.

One particular new fund of note, is the Madeleine L’Engle Travel Research Fellowship Fund.

Online Giving Form: This new form saves time and simplifies the giving process. When you reach the Gift Designation section, pull down “Optional Designation” menu, you can designate your gift to specific initiatives in special collections if desired, in on the box provided.

Donations of collections or single items that directly support or complement the collections should be brought to the attention of the appropriate curator.
