Media Production Services & Support
Neilson Library and Alumnae Gymnasium both provide unique technology, software, equipment and spaces for media production. Support for these tools comes in two tiers: Drop-in help with our student Digital Media Mentors, or scheduling a consultation with our expert Educational Media Producers.

Drop-In Help with Digital Media Mentors
Digital Media Mentors are students who have experience with a variety of digital media tools and are available to assist with topics such as project planning, software support, hardware assistance and studio use.
Digital Media Mentors are available for drop-in help in Neilson 012E, located in the Digital Media Hub of Neilson Library (Level G).

Consultations With Educational Media Producers
Educational Media Producers provide comprehensive support and expertise in the areas of digital media production. Students, faculty and staff can request consultations to get help with digital media software or hardware, course media project support, or general guidance and information in various areas of digital media production including:

Digital Media Course Projects
Educational Media Producers collaborate with Faculty in the development, implementation and support of curricular digital media projects. These projects are developed to meet faculty members’ specific learning goals and enable students to experience and develop critical digital competencies. Projects can range in scope from simple low stakes presentation exercises, to long-term, content-rich, public-facing products with professional results. Media producers collaborate with faculty to determine appropriate hardware and software, develop achievable project timelines, and deliver robust project-focused technology workshops while also providing support to students throughout the project process.
