Dominique Tremblay has moved into the position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Access Services across all libraries on campus. He can assist with any questions related to searching and requesting materials through the online catalog, fines, course reserves/e-reserves, and using and accessing any other user services offered within the libraries. Dom has been working at Smith College Libraries for over 5 years with a focus on managing art, science and electronic reserves.

Before working at Smith he worked at Emory University’s Political Science Department as an Academic Services Administrator for 6 years. While at Emory, he completed his Master of Library and Information Sciences (MLIS) at Valdosta State University where he studied library technology and completed a thesis on library policy with regard to electronic reserves.

Dominique was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (Go Oilers!) and also worked at a high school for underrepresented students as head administrator. He works closely with students, faculty, college and library staff, and members of the public to ensure that the library services are best serving the community.
