Dan Michelson
Collections Archivist

Dan is responsible for collection management, archival processing, stacks management, and a number of other functions in Special Collections Technical Services.
From 2018 to 2021, Dan led the Access to Collections (A2C) project to improve and standardize access to the extensive holdings of Smith College Special Collections. He has previously held positions at Union College, the Hagley Museum & Library, Michigan Tech, and New York University. A graduate of Hampshire College, Dan is thrilled to be back in the Pioneer Valley.
