For this, the last month of 2024, I thought I’d take a look back and focus not on what I'm reading in ScholarWorks, but rather—what everyone else is reading in ScholarWorks.
- Just in the last year we have had over 11,000 institutions from over 219 countries download about 500,000 items.
- In that time the scholarship in ScholarWorks was cited about 67,000 times!
- Our top download for 2024 was Professor Elizabeth Armstrong’s Marxist and Social Feminism.
- Professor Emeritus Al Mosley’s OER (Open Educational Resource), Introduction to Logic continues to be a powerhouse contributing to the global educational commons with this excellent and useful resource.
A genuine curiosity of the world and each other is the basis of all scholarship and, I believe, is a fundamental good. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from our community in 2025. Wishing you all a very happy new year with lots of cool stuff to read!
