Neilson, Hillyer,  and Josten libraries are closed Thursday-Sunday, July 3-6 for Independence Day. Alumnae Gym will remain open with swipe access only. For details, see Hours.

While the main entrance is inaccessible, the south entrance (facing Alumnae Gym) and Burton lawn entrance are unlocked during open hours.

Smith Reads is a first-year reading experience for all students new to Smith College. This includes first-year students, Ada Comstock Scholars and transfer students. This year’s reading selection is The Book of Form and Emptiness: A Novel by Ruth Ozeki.

A conversation with the author will take place on Monday, September 5 from 3-4:30 p.m. in John M. Greene Hall. For the full details of this program, see the Smith Reads webpage.
