The Smith College Libraries are pleased to share an exciting discovery update: records for the Smith College Museum of Art and the Botanic Gardens are now indexed and searchable in Discover Advanced!

You can also find them by filtering a search in Discover Advanced using the Content Provider Search Filter and selecting "Smith College Museum of Art" or "Botanic Garden of Smith College."
This is a significant milestone in the Stronger Together Digital Collections Collaboration Project made possible by grants from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Records from the Botanic Gardens, which were added last year, have been enhanced with subject headings and metadata to make them easier to search. The addition of the SCMA records is the latest development in the ongoing cross-collection discovery project. This brings the museum and botanic gardens under the same digital umbrella as Smith College Libraries and Special Collections -- all searchable in one place!
We have been working toward this for several years and will continue to make strides towards enhanced search and discoverability as we move forward.
