Smith College Libraries Posters & Cards On Sale at SCMA Gift Shop

Smith College Libraries posters and greeting cards, featuring designs by local artist Aaron Wood, are now available for purchase through the Smith College Museum of Art gift shop!

Each library building — Neilson Library, Josten Performing Arts Library, Hillyer Art Library, and Alumnae Gymnasium — is depicted in these custom designs.

For the concept, Wood drew inspiration from the Works Progress Administration (WPA) posters of the 1930s-40s. This iconic style lends itself to bold colors, clean lines, and a striking visual appearance.

Posters are tabloid sized (11x17) and are printed locally on a medium weight card stock with a matte finish. All four location designs are available online or in person at the museum gift shop.

Greeting cards may be purchased individually or in sets of five.
