Tell us your Smith College Libraries Story.

I had the opportunity to join the Neilson team two years ago, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. When I first applied, I had no idea I would meet so many people I consistently look up to or find such a strong support system. I’ve always loved libraries, especially the constant opportunity to learn, whether through new books or the people around me.

Working at Neilson has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I truly found a community that cares about me, not just as a student employee, but as a person. This experience has shaped me by encouraging me to keep discovering and learning, and I’ve gained so much from the staff who have helped me grow in ways I will carry into my future.

Outside of the Libraries, what are your interests and hobbies?

Outside of work, I enjoy going on walks, watching movies and shows, coloring, and getting coffee.

What is next for you after graduating from Smith?

Moving forward, I plan to continue pursuing my passion for the legal field and helping others.

If you could impart one piece of advice to incoming first year students, what would it be?

Take advantage of ALL of the Smith resources, it can be scary at first but it is so very helpful.
