Tell us your Smith College Libraries Story.

I have always loved books and I've always been nosy about dead people's business! I love getting to look through scrapbooks and diaries of Smith alumnae with Special Collections staff. My favorite examples are Madeleine L'Engle's theatre scrapbook and the gossip cards from Lady Caroline Lane Reynolds Slemmer Jebb! My favorite part of my job has been planning & setting up for Special Connections.

Outside of the Libraries, what are your interests and hobbies?

Chivalric romance, painting, and reading tarot! I also love fairies and obsessively writing goodreads reviews.

What is next for you after graduating from Smith?

Continuing my theatre career!

If you could impart one piece of advice to incoming first year students, what would it be?

Don't be afraid to request books from the library! I know Neilson can be daunting (I cried the first time my STRIDE advisor sent me to the library to find a book!)—but the online systems are so helpful!
