Help us to welcome our new baritone ukes!!
When: Saturday, September 21, 10am-12pm
Where: Josten Library Mezzanine
Who: Students, staff, and faculty welcome.
Have you always wanted to learn to play the ukulele? Do you already play the guitar, and want to try the baritone ukulele (baritone ukes are tuned like the first four strings of the guitar)? You could also just bring your guitar and strum along with the group.
The Northampton-based community Ukulele Strum Group will hold a beginner-friendly session at Josten Library, Saturday, September 21, led by local musician and teacher, Don Rovero. This is a chance to meet local residents who play weekly at Forbes Library, that distinguished public library right across from College Hall.
Josten Library lends soprano, tenor, and baritone ukuleles, and will have some ukuleles available to use at the open strum. There should be shareable copies of The Daily Ukulele, and the Baritone Edition.
