As we prepare for the fall semester here are some new e-resources the library has acquired. These are all perpetual access purchases and are permanent additions to the collection.

New Archive Collections

Classical Music in Video vols. II & III (ProQuest) Streaming performances of all forms of classical music, including performances by leading orchestras, plus chamber music, oratorio, and solo performances, along with master classes and interviews with master teachers from around the world.

Dance in Video vols. III & IV (ProQuest) Streaming video of dance productions & documentaries by the most influential performers & companies of the 20th century in ballet, tap, jazz.

History Commons: Indigenous Peoples Social Justice and Culture (Coherent Digital) 100,000+ blogs, magazines, videos, podcasts, tweets, newspapers, and other content from more than 1,000 organizations representing indigenous perspectives.

History Commons: LGBTQ+ Social Justice and Culture (Coherent Digital) A collection of blogs, podcasts, videos, zines, and more from over 1,000 organizations representing activist voices from the 1980s to today, with a special focus on content at risk of disappearing, especially in oppressive countries.

History Commons: Refugees, Migrations and Borders Social Justice and Culture (Coherent Digital) Stories from and about refugee and migrant communities from Cold War migrations to current displacements.

Manuscript Women's Letters and Diaries 1700s-1900s (ProQuest) Personal writings of women of the 18th-20th centuries, drawn from the American Antiquarian Society in Worcester, Massachusetts.

North American Women's Letters and Diaries (ProQuest) The largest electronic collection of women’s diaries and correspondence ever assembled, spanning 300+ years and presenting the personal experiences of hundreds of women.

Policy Commons (Coherent Digital) Comprehensive and current grey literature database including 4 modules with tens of millions of reports, blogs, papers, and podcasts from thousands of think tanks, IGOs, NGOs, research agencies, and governments.

Smithsonian Global Sound vol. II (ProQuest) Streaming audio of the world's musical and aural traditions; with recordings by the Smithsonian Folkways label & archival audio collections of Folkways Records, Cook, Dyer-Bennet, Fast Folk, Monitor, Paredon, etc.

Underground and Independent Comics, Comix and Graphic Novels vol. III Full-text adult comic books & graphic novels, plus interviews, criticism & articles that document this genre.

In addition to the collections above we also purchased perpetual access to a number of Kanopy films that have seen significant use over the past few years.

British Library Newspapers Part VII (Gale) Includes 36 English language newspapers from present-day Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar & Thailand

Burney Collection of UK Newspapers Part II (Gale) Additional 17th-18th century publications from the British Library holdings

Chicago Tribune (ProQuest) purchased the 2000-2014 extension so our perpetual access covers 1849-2014

Daily Mail (Gale) purchased the 2017-2010 extension so our perpetual access covers 1897-2010

Ebony Magazine Archive (EBSCO) Full page access from 1945-2014

Forbes Magazine Archive (EBSCO) Full page access from 1917-2010

LA Times Archive (ProQuest) Full page access from 1881- 2015

Mail on Sunday (Gale) Sunday editions of the Daily Mail from 1982-2011

Times (London) (Gale) purchased the 2020-2024 extension so our perpetual access covers 1785- 2024

Women's Magazine Archive Vol. III (ProQuest) Contains several important UK titles such as Cosmopolitan (1972-2005) and Good Housekeeping UK

In addition to the collections above, we added to our backfile holdings of Wiley and American Institute of Physics journals.
