Neilson Library Construction Update, August 7, 2018

There will be another, but smaller concrete pour this Friday. It will require a concrete pumper and deliveries by 16 concrete trucks to the construction site at the back side of Hatfield Hall. Work will start at 7 a.m. and complete before noon.

Also, next week the electrical contractor will be pulling and terminating new medium voltage electrical feeders for Neilson Library at two vaults outside of the construction area between Wright Hall and Sabin Reed near the Lanning Fountain, and at the east side of Bass Hall. Work will begin on Tuesday, August 14 and complete on Wednesday. There will NOT be power interruptions related to this work and the work will create little noise or disruption.
