Meet Micah Walter, New Web Services Librarian

We are excited to have Micah Walter as the libraries’ new Web Services Librarian after having worked at Smith College Libraries for the last two and a half years as a Circulation Librarian at Josten Library. In this new role as the Web Services Librarian, Micah provides support for the software and web packages used by Smith College Libraries, maintaining connections to internal and external applications and creating new applications to improve access and discovery of library resources. Micah also collaborates with ITS and with Five College partners to work on projects that benefit Smith College Libraries. In each of these roles, besides contributing to the software infrastructure, Micah also develops and documents workflows.
