Meet Megan O’Shea, Gloria Steinem Archivist

Please join us in welcoming Megan O’Shea, the new Gloria Steinem Archivist.

As the Gloria Steinem Archivist, Megan is responsible for improving access to and description of the Gloria Steinem Papers. Her responsibilities include surveying the collection as it currently exists, identifying ways in which access may be improved, enhancing description of materials, and identifying materials of high research value for digitization.

The Gloria Steinem Archivist role is a two year project position that will focus on improving the arrangement and description of the Steinem Papers and oversee the digitization of a majority of the collection. At the end of two years, the Steinem Papers will be easier to use and made vastly more accessible due to linked digital copies.
