Meet Brandon Katzir, New Systems & Discovery Librarian

Please join us in welcoming Brandon Katzir, the new Systems & Discovery Librarian.

Brandon is a member of the Collections, Discovery & Systems group, supporting the library’s digital infrastructure as well as its discovery layer. He works to ensure that search and discovery function seamlessly across library services to help patrons find the information they need quickly and intuitively.

Before coming to Smith, Brandon was a Digital Services Librarian at Oklahoma State University and an Associate Professor of English at Oklahoma City University. He maintains an active research agenda in Jewish Studies and interdisciplinary nineteenth-century studies and is the co-creator of the Victorian Jewish Writers Project, a digital collection focusing on Anglo-Jewish writing during the long nineteenth century.
