Want to integrate data literacy into your course but feel unsure where to begin?
Faculty from all disciplines are invited to apply for the Data Literacy Faculty Fellowship to design assignments using project-based learning with data. Projects can range from original data analysis, replication, to data curation or critical analysis of AI/ML training datasets. Fellows attend a two-day institute, receive dedicated support from the Data Librarian, and earn a $750 research grant upon completion. This initiative, sponsored by the Committee on Educational Technology, offers the resources needed to foster students’ critical thinking with data.
