Published October 19, 2022

Smith College Special Collections is hosting a new series of events this semester: Open Houses!

Have you heard about Smith’s Special Collections but aren’t sure what they are or how to access them? Open Houses are the place to talk with Special Collections staff, explore our new spaces, and check out some of the amazing holdings Smith has to offer. The purpose here is simply to see, touch, and enjoy our collections. Each month will have a different theme with unique archival materials on display, such as Smith student scrapbooks, rare medieval manuscripts, the papers of iconic feminists, and more! Come touch history!

The Open House events will take place in the Special Collections Seminar Room (Neilson Library 304) from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. . on the following dates:

  • Monday, October 31
  • Tuesday, November 29
  • Friday, December 16
