The Smith College Libraries homepage will soon have a new look. Here is a summary of the changes to the homepage:

1. Improved ability to communicate timely messages. The new homepage contains a special message section, and improved visibility for library news and events.
2. Updated search box. Users will see a third search tab called Journals, which provides an easy way to see if the Libraries carry a specific journal, periodical, newspaper, or magazine.
3. Improved access to the most-used links. The Quick Links block provides fast access to some of the most-used pages on the Libraries website, such as databases, course reserves, and more.
4. Updated page header and navigation. The topmost utility navigation includes streamlined options for finding library hours and contacting library staff, whie the main navigation contains a new Spaces & Technology menu, with new webpages related to the Neilson Library and Alumnae Gym.

Anyone wishing to comment on the changes, or report issues, may use the "Send Feedback" button, which is located in the lower right corner of every Libraries webpage.

The revised launch date for the new homepage is Monday, February 22.
