Xochitl Quiroz
First Years' Engagement and Humanities Librarian
Xochitl Quiroz (she/her) is the subject librarian for many of the Humanities Departments, as well as the librarian for First Years on campus. She provides research and instruction support for students and faculty in the humanities, in addition to serving as the library liaison for orientation and first year seminars. Xochitl also works with faculty, staff, and students on the collection development for her respective departments.
Prior to arriving at Smith, Xochitl served as the Graduate Assistant at the Ricker Library of Art and Architecture at the University of Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, reading, and going to coffee shops.
