Sara Luttrell

Sara is the Cataloging Librarian for all Smith College Libraries. She specializes in original and complex cataloging for physical and digital resources across diverse formats and subject areas, including rare books, music scores, and student theses. She works collaboratively with colleagues and consortium partners to develop and maintain metadata that enhances the discovery, access, and stewardship of library collections.  

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Sara's professional background includes work in Waldorf and ESL education, bookselling, and public libraries. She is also a cellist and experimental noise artist, with a wide range of artistic interests and endeavors.
