Sara is responsible for cataloging physical and digital resources in various formats and subjects, including original and complex copy cataloging for the Smith College Libraries. She also works collaboratively with colleagues and consortium partners to develop and maintain metadata services to support the discovery, access, and use of library resources and materials.

Sara is originally from Atlanta, GA. She has worked as a Waldorf teacher, an ESL teacher in Nanjing, China, a bookseller at the Eric Carle Museum, a librarian at the Field Memorial Library in Conway, MA, and as a cataloger at the Brooks Memorial Library in Brattleboro, VT.

She enjoys playing her cello and creating a variety of multimedia art in her spare time.
