Miriam Cady

In her position, Miriam manages the Special Collections reading room, provides reference support to researchers, and directs the undergraduate student assistant program for public services.

Miriam began her professional life in museums, working in a number of historic house museums, anthropology museums, and international heritage organizations before pivoting to work in Special Collections. Prior to joining Smith, she was the Instruction and Public Services Archivist at WVU and the Reference Archivist at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Outside of work, Miriam enjoys spending time with her dog, exploring graveyards, and cross stitching.
