As the Metadata & Technical Services Archivist, Michelle leads Special Collections’ implementation of metadata standards and best practices, and associated metadata management technologies. She works to maintain and improve local standards and practices for creating archival description and other related metadata.

Over the course of her career Michelle has worked at Amherst College, Chevron, and Stanford University. Outside of work, she enjoys distance running. You might see her out training for a half marathon or at any number of road races in the Pioneer Valley.
