Michelle Gibeault

Michelle manages the activities of the Libraries' Teaching, Learning and Research (TLR) team. These librarians offer subject-specific instruction, outreach, consultations, and reference services to the Smith community. With the Head of Collection Development and Management, Michelle leads the activities of subject librarians in selecting library materials for academic departments. As a manager within Learning, Research and Technology (LRT), a blended department of librarians, academic technologists, and spatial analysis specialists shared between the Libraries and ITS, Michelle collaborates in developing new service strategies and models in the Libraries. As a leader in the organization, Michelle participate in overall Libraries leadership activities and represents the Libraries and LRT in campus-wide activities.
