As the Accessioning Archivist, Megan manages new acquisitions of archival, manuscript, and rare book collections in the Smith College Special Collections. She is responsible for establishing baseline intellectual and physical control over these materials in service of providing access to researchers.

Prior to the role of Accessioning Archivist, Megan was the Gloria Steinem Project Archivist in Smith College Special Collections and was responsible for improving access to and description of the Gloria Steinem papers. Throughout her career, she has worked as a processing archivist at the New York Public Library and New York University Libraries. Megan is excited to be back in her native Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and cat. Away from archives, she enjoys genre fiction, puzzles of all sorts, and the wildlife that wanders through her backyard.
