Malynda (she/her) heads a team of five staff who provide services at the Central Service Point on the Ground Floor, and the Question Desk on the First Floor of Neilson Library. Together, they process course reserves, provide front-line assistance, and circulate physical items. She wants all patrons to have a positive experience in a welcoming environment when they use Neilson Library. She has spent her entire career in library public services and believes in the principles of good customer service. Combined with a deep knowledge of the library and its various services and programs, one can curate an environment of confidence and ease for patrons.

Malynda is a native of Western Mass, relocating after 18 years in South Texas. In her spare time she likes to crochet, attend concerts and live music from all genres, and spend time with her dog, Leeloo Dallas.

Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
