Glen manages aspects of providing access to print & electronic serials resources. This includes authorizing subscription renewals, processing of invoices, setting-up and monitoring online access, receiving of print serial issues, and preparing print materials for binding.

Glen has worked at the Smith College Libraries since December 1989. Prior to that he worked for 11 years with the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Gloucester, Massachusetts.  He has an interest in current railroad operations and North American railroad history. Integrating this interest with photography, Glen enjoys "railfanning" active spots in western Massachusetts. His travels in the Northeast usually are tied to railroads in some way. Glen also is interested in postcard collecting and historical advertising, especially as they relate to travel and transportation themes. His reading primarily is non-fiction; recently that has included works about the U.S. Revolutionary War period. For lighter enjoyment, Glen enjoys mysteries / adventures (two favorites are: the Castle Nikki Heat series; the Cusslser Issac Bell Adventures). His favorite sports team is UMass-Amherst Men's Ice Hockey and has attended many of their home games over the past decade.
