B.F.A., Printmaking with Art History Minor, MICA

Adrienne Figus is the Project Manager for Stronger Together: Creating a Collections Data Governance and Digital Preservation Ecosystem at Smith. Stronger Together is a four-year project funded in part by the Mellon Foundation. Adrienne works with staff from the Libraries, Smith College Museum of Art, Botanic Garden of Smith College and other campus partners to develop sustainable governance and infrastructure that will support teaching, learning, research and stewardship for collections at the College.

Adrienne is also an artist, working primarily on paper. She captures the scenic landscapes around Western Massachusetts and here on Smith Campus in watercolor, makes botanical inks from local plants, and is a member of Zea Mays Printmaking in Florence, MA. Adrienne enjoys knitting and other fiber arts, with a special interest in visible mending techniques.
