Abril Navarro

As a member of the Learning, Research, and Technology group, Abril collaborates with faculty, students and staff to identify technology that will assist in meeting their pedagogical and learning needs.

Abril is originally from the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. Prior to joining Smith, she worked with international academic exchanges for youth, undergraduates and professionals through grants funded by the U.S. Department of State. Abril is a Ph.D. candidate in the Spanish and Portuguese Department at UMass Amherst. She is passionate about linguistic attitudes and countering linguistic biases.
