JostenLive! Imagining Beethoven in Music and Words
Friday, January 25, 2019, 5 p.m.
Josten Library Mezzanine, Mendenhall Center for the Performing Arts

Jiayan Sun, Iva Dee Hyatt Visiting Artist, plays selected movements from Beethoven’s piano sonatas, and Smith student pianists read passages from Beethoven and his contemporaries.

Accompanying Mr. Sun’s performances of Beethoven’s complete piano sonatas in chronological order this year, this intimate salon performance will give listeners a chance to interact with the performers.

JostenLive! is a patron-driven performance series celebrating the creative lives of library users and the brilliance of its Mezzanine. Brief, free, and open to all.
