B.A., Liberal Arts, St. John's College, Santa Fe

Tristan brings his experience in application and web development to the Libraries, where he develops and implements digital library applications including: tools for library web content management, digital collection repositories, and archives information management. He strives constantly to apply best practices in Library software development projects and employs cutting edge software and web technologies with a strong preference for “open source” solutions. Tristan works closely with both nontechnical and technical library stakeholders to make sure that Library applications meet our diverse and evolving needs.

Tristan's last position was Web Developer and Manager of Digital Collections at the National Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA. In an earlier carrier Tristan was trained and worked as an electronics engineer in the radar and environmental sensing instruments industry. In his undergraduate work Tristan concentrated in the Philosophy of Science.

Having studied it in college, Tristan still dabbles in Ancient Greek. He also has a rudimentary ability to read Yiddish. When he’s not at work, Tristan can be found in the woods hunting for gourmet mushrooms.
