Kat is responsible for course reserves, and working with music acquisitions and cataloging, in addition to participating in public services at Josten Library.

Kat has worked as a public library circulation assistant at the Exton Library in Pennsylvania. She also worked as a music intern and library assistant at the Presser Music Library at West Chester University, and was a graduate assistant in the Music Department there as well. She recently began the LIS program in Cultural Heritage and Informatics at Simmons University. She also instructs the University of Connecticut marching band cymbal players. She has been a cymbal player for the NFL Eagle's drumline since 2017. Besides music, Kat enjoys reading, walking, knitting, and watching the squirrels on campus.
