Han Nolan

Han (he/him/his) is responsible for opening Neilson Library from Tuesday to Saturday and ensuring everything is clean, comfortable, and presentable for all library users. While supervising student workers, he provides the initial point of contact for all library patrons at the Central Service Point, answering all questions and providing requested information, directing users to the correct location, and offering referrals accordingly. He also assists with the checking in and out of all available library materials, such as books, videos, and equipment.

Han moved to New England from middle Georgia in 2016 with his cat, Melody, and gecko, Link, and loves bringing his Southern charm with him to delight his friends and coworkers. Prior to working at Smith, he held positions as a vehicular total loss and emergency road service specialist, a project coordinator, and the sole customer service representative for a start-up gig company. He is an avid lover of houseplants and collecting little knickknacks. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, gardening, and playing casual video games
