Allison is responsible for coordinating library activities related to the new Neilson project. She serves as liaison between the library staff and design consultants, devises and oversees the moves of library materials and staff, and handles space management concerns for the eight library locations during the transitional period.
Before joining Smith College, Allison spent 12 years as an independent consultant specializing in the project management of sustainable building projects around Western Massachusetts. Prior to that, she created and ran economic development programs for the cities of Richmond and Berkeley, California. Off-duty Allison likes to garden, cook and manage Lego building projects with her two children.
