Part 1: An Overview of Research Data Management (RDM)

An introduction to RDM: What it is, the data lifecycle, its benefits, planning, and how other academic institutions and Smith Libraries are providing support. Presented by Rocco Piccinino, Science and Data Services Librarian.

Part 2: Faculty Encounters with Data

Jordan will provide a personal view on using and managing research data -- the rewards and challenges experienced. Presented by Jordan Crouser, Assistant Professor of Computer Science.

Part 3: Q&A and Discussion

A conversation about the support needed in managing research data.
