Nimisha is Hillyer Art Library's subject librarian and a member of the Learning, Research & Technology department. She promotes methodologies and tools of the visual arts for research, teaching, and learning, as well as engaging the art community in learning about library services, collections, facilities, and technologies. As the librarian for Hillyer, Nimisha provides research and learning support of the visual arts to students, faculty, and staff through a critical and intersectional lens.
Before coming to Smith, Nimisha worked at several major art museum libraries including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim, and the Frick Collection. She also interned for Marvel Comics as a grad student. Outside of work she loves reading, biking, and listening to music & podcasts.
