Flynn is part of the Discovery, Access & Digital Engagement department and maintains print and e-reserves for Smith’s undergraduate programs as well as the School for Social Work. Flynn and Dominique are the primary contacts for all reserve and e-reserve related questions. Additionally, Flynn oversees Neilson Library Circulation Desk services and supervises the student assistants who work with the circulation team.
When Flynn is not at the library, they spend time frolicking with their small dog Holmie, rock climbing or engaging in various street art projects. Prior to Smith, Flynn was a reference and instruction librarian at Greenfield Community College (GCC) and was a School Media Specialist at the Williston Northampton School (WNS) in Easthampton. Flynn is a Western Massachusetts native and enjoys Northampton’s whimsical quirks. Please feel free to stop by or email them for any reserve or circulation related questions.
